Review:
Marc/Cliff fics are extremely rare in the Ugly Betty fandom; a pity, as they certainly are one of the most interesting couples on the show.

"Setting the Record Straight" is set after the episode "A League of Their Own" and has Mark worrying about Justin's behavior (kissing a girl in particular), afraid he's trying to suppress who he is. Cliff then urges him to call the boy and talk to him about it.

This fic shows the true soul “Ugly Betty” (that has, unfortunately, been slowly disappearing): nothing is more important than being who you truly are. The fic also brings out some of the best things about Marc/Cliff: the banter, the flirting, the undercurrent of genuine affection between them. Add to that an utterly fabulous Justin and you have a highly enjoyable (though very short) story.
