Review:
Now it's Jim's turn.

Blair's been geared up to get kicked out of the loft for years now, but he always assumed it could come during a fight or after the dissertation or maybe after he made a particularly bad mistake. He didn't expect Jim to ask him to leave on a beautifully sunny day, right before offering to fix him breakfast. In fact, Blair's so thrown by the circumstances that he doesn't even argue, just finds a new place and moves in and is so distracted by the sudden change in his life that he doesn't notice that Jim is acting very strangely...

Speranza has three paragraphs of warnings at the beginning of this story but don't let those scare you away. She deals with a serious subject matter here (and one that I'm surprised isn't brought up more often), but not in such a way that it's too dark to read. Suspenseful and wonderfully angsty, with great characterizations and a very intriguing premise, Go is a good fic if you're looking for a short story with substance.
