Review:
A quiet, appealing story, mostly taking place immediately after the series finale with the exception of a flashback that I actually enjoyed (I know! I couldn't believe it either! If only all flashbacks were so interesting...) Mac and Methos have a long talk about who they are, what they mean to each other, and why they can't stop fighting. And then there's smut. A lovely read.

Um... I really don't think there's anything remotely adult in this journal's content (even 12year olds know "that story/movie was HOT" is not a temperature indicator). And it's really annoying to have everything under LJ-cut. Just my thoughts...

Heh. Just so you know, I spent fifteen minutes looking at elynross's journal before I figured out what you were talking about:)

I'm not thrilled with the new Adult Content guidelines, and I'm even less thrilled with how they've been implemented. I set this community as having adult content since 95% of my recs are for NC-17 stories, but you make a good point in that the reviews themselves contain no adult content. Let me review the guidelines in more detail and think about them -- I might end up switching the comm back to general settings.

Thanks for the feedback!

Okay, after reviewing the guidelines, I've removed the Adult Content filter (actually, the filter I was actually using proved to be the Adult Concepts filter, which might be accurate, but I'm hoping to slide under the radar here:) Let me know if you're still having problems.

Everything looks fine :)

Well, yes, "adult concept" is a tricky thing. But even R-rated movies have show previews in all theatres as long as there are no "naught bits", though the previews themselves may hint at the actual sex/violence that's contained in the movies. I don't think it's a problem for a child to read "this movie/novel/video contains violence/gore/sex" (how else are they supposed to be warned), as long as there are no detailed discriptions of the said violence/gore/sex.

But then again, the creators of LJ exist on a different plane and are very likely to think differently.

I know. It's a pity that I discovered LJ so soon before the LJ PTB went and lost their freaking minds...
