Review:
The fog of the Imperius Curse had kept Barty unthinking for years until, one day, a young boy with bright eyes and black hair changed his world.

There’s something quite charming about this story. Written as part of the author’s ‘Enchantment’ series, I was surprised with how much I was sold on not only the pairing but the premise, which features a Ravenclaw!Harry through his first few years at Hogwarts and enough Shakespeare quotes to make anyone happy. Solidly focused on the time that Barty Jr and Harry spend together, the author does a wonderful job of describing how transient Barty’s lucidity is while under the Imperius Curse, as well as Harry’s determination to break him free of it, even if it means stepping into the “grey” area of the war.

All in all, if you’re not scared off by the ‘underage’ warning (nothing more than kissing happens), it’s a lovely AU read.
