Summary:
For the prompt "No divorce on the beach - Charles goes with Erik": Charles may be dead, but that doesn't mean he's gone.

Review:
Instead of being injured at the end of First Class, Charles dies, and Erik and the rest of the mutants return to Westchester to heal and re-group. But Erik notices that everyone is acting increasingly strangely, and Erik can't seem to leave.

This is right on target for our Supernatural/Horror week. It's sort-of a canon fix it, if by fixing the ending of First Class you upped the creepy factor by 100%. Lavvyan shows off her talent in painting a situation that is both grimly disturbing and somewhat happy, in so few words. She's turned canon fix-it fics on end, the very definition of 'be careful what you wish for.'

This chilling story is perfect for anyone that likes a good ghost story, and doesn't mind major character deaths or a little mind control in their fics.
