Review:
By the end of season 5 of "Criminal Minds" I was already a bit disenchanted with the show; after JJ left in the beginning of the 6th season, I decided to stop watching it. Still in a very disappointed mindset by the way things had turned out in the series, I stumbled upon "Branching Out" and was immediately hooked.

Here we have a very frustrated JJ who is most definitely *not* happy to abandon her team/family and becoming increasingly frustrated by the fact that nothing about her new job seems to make sense. It is not until she meets General O'Neill and Daniel Jackson that she realizes that the role she will play for the Department of Defense will be bigger than anything she has ever imagined. In short, this is an intriguing crossover with a very clever premise that should be a perfect pick me up for those frustrated by the way thing turned out for JJ after 6x02.
