Review:
Season seven of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” is, without a doubt, my least favorite season, and I believe many others share my opinion. There are moments of greatness, but those are few and far between. In contrast, there are many poorly chosen additional actors, much overdone drama, and tons of redundant plot. This fic falls completely within canon season seven with the only change to canon being a slightly altered Xander. And yet it’s truly fantastic.

Reremouse and Savoytruffle are each fantastic authors in their own rights, but collaboratively their greatness multiplies. The Xander-voice is both spot-on and hilarious. Spike and Xander’s relationship is almost completely angst-free—even the girls’ reactions to it are positive. A fun, fast read, this one will have you remembering all the highlights of season seven (while completely avoiding all the Potentials).
