Sherlock's canon asexuality isn't dealt with very often in fanfic, so I was thrilled to discover this story, which not only addresses said asexuality, but does so in a compelling fashion as John and Sherlock navigate a relationship that can work for both of them, without either one doing anything they don't want to do. I'm not sure it could work for most pairings, but it works for John and Sherlock and is positively fascinating to read.
