Review: Blood or Chocolate? is a supernatural murder mystery. The main character and POV character is Duo, a clairvoyant gas station attendant in Podunk Texas. He gets dragged into Werewolf politics and pack intrigue after, Wufei, takes an interest in him and his powers.

This is a sharp story, that sticks to the conventions of a murder mystery without neglecting the supernatural aspects of the story. The culprit is not the surprise it could have been, but the story does keep you unsure of your conclusions until the big reveal.

The romance sub-plot of the story suffers from the concentration on the main plot but it is still kept relatively believable.
