This story is told in a pitch-perfect Fraser voice with spot on characterizations, and perfectly captures and meshes the whimsical and quirky worlds of both due South and Hot Fuzz. On the quest for Ray Kowalski's lost passport, he and Fraser wind up in Sanford and working with Nicholas Angel and Danny Butterman to recover it. Their efforts end up including many trips to the pub, several run ins with the swan, and various other hilarious hijinks. I particularly liked how parallels were drawn between the two buddy cop partnerships, and how all four of them interact in various combinations. In all, a rollicking good fun fic.
