While our favorite trio of ex-spies (plus Tony Stark) are helping a woman escape from her evil wepons-dealing boyfriend, Fiona is kidnapped. It's up to the guys to save her.
I have to admit, I'm not particularly thrilled by the Iron Man parts of this fic. That said, the interactions between the Burn Notice characters more than makes up for it. Michael and Fiona's dysfunctional relationship, Michael and Sam's off-beat friendship, and (my personal favorite) Fiona and Sam's 'we don't like each other, really we don't, and to prove it we will snipe at each other like bitchy drama queens except when we're comparing notes on women's fashion, because hot shoes trancend the need to snark at my competition for Michael's attention' rivalry are all depicted brilliantly. Sam's dialogue in particular just jumps right off the page to dazzle you and I've basically decided that it's impossible for Sam not to be awesome, no matter who writes him. (Bruce Campbell is my hero.)
Short version: the relationships rock, Michael's wit is dry, and Sam is awesome. Go read!

Review:
For those who haven't heard of this series (admittedly not nearly as famous as the Poirot and Marple series), Tommy and Tuppence is about a couple who, for reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, rather unexpectedly found themselves working for the British government as spies. Unlike Poirot and Miss Marple, Tommy and Tuppence are young and full of life (and absolutely love each other to bits). In a way they remind me of Nick and Nora, only less rich and far less perpetually inebriated.
In this adventure, they are undercover at a resort in Lindenlea attempting to ferret out who is selling government secrets to the enemy. Unfortunately they're having a tough time finding their way into the resort's inner circle, but thanks to one of Tuppence's trademark daring (i.e., ridiculously foolhardy and yet somehow successful) plans, they finally get in. Only to run into Tuppence's formidable Aunt Maud. Life? Just got *way* more complicated.
It's been ages since I read my first (and only) Tommy and Tuppence novel, but this story makes me want to revisit the series. Tuppence is as impetuous and light-hearted as ever, Tommy is fondly long-suffering, and Aunt Maud (who may or may not be an OC -- if she is, she's one of the best OCs I've ever read) is a dragon that would make Bertie Wooster sit up and take notice. A delightful, well-plotted and beautifully written romp.

Mohinder has a stalker who's been leaving gifts and cryptic notes. Whoever shall it be? Matt is the Freddy to Mohinder's Velma as they look for the mysterious stalker.
This fic is sweet and funny, with a really solid Matt-Mohinder dynamic that you usually don't get unless it's Matt/Mohinder slash. But what I like best in this fic was the excellent snarky banter between the characters. Here's an example;
Fantastic," Mohinder sighed. "Now I have two stalkers."
"I'm pretty sure if you're as rich as Nathan, they don't call it stalking. They probably call it an indecent proposal or something. It's not his mom, either," Matt said in a tone that suggested Mohinder really didn't want to follow up.
"But?"
"But she said to tell you that if you're ever bored—"
"Please don't finish that sentence, Matt."
"At least I don't want to sleep with you."

After a few months of dating, Harmony sits Harry down and explains that she's polyamorous. Harry does not take this well. Thus begins the long slide from Harry/Harmony to Harry/Perry.
This story has one of the best Harry the Narrator voices ever. The other characters are good as well, especially Harmony (who usually doesn't come across well in fanfic, but who is fantastic in this), but Harry's voice is simply brilliant. Add in Perry showing his slightly-less-assholish side (you know, the side that makes him getting with Harry a happy ending, rather than a guarantee of a lifetime of verbal abuse), a cute case or two, and some great writing and you have a top-notch and surprisingly meaty KKBB fic.
