This is one possible explanation for how Fraser and Ray's partnership went so awry in Season Three that they actually exchanged blows. Of course, seeing as this is fanfic, there was sex involved. And misunderstandings. And Fraser being emotionally distant. And Ray being, well, nuts. (Mainlining DS fic for the last week or so is giving me a nearly overwhelming urge to write Ray as exceedingly rational in my latest fic.) There are also plenty of trust issues, and the exploration of same is the reason I'm recommending this fic. Trust is a huge factor in season three, and it becomes even more critical in this fic, where Ray and Fraser are knocking boots every once in a while. Not to mention the Stella Issues.
