What if, after Alex Barnes and all that she brought with her, Blair didn't just up and forgive Jim? What if, instead, he asked for a little space?

This isn't 'Blair running away from home' fic. Rather, it's 'Blair (finally) putting his own needs first for the sake of his sanity' fic, which is a genre I could totally get behind. Much of this story is a little sad, but at the same time, there is a lot of healing and the potential for a relationship that might actually last.

If you like your relationships to be realistically difficult and are open to a bittersweet tale, this is the fic for you.
