When Clark gets so run down from overwork that he becomes a danger to himself and others, morally!ambiguous!Lex blackmails him into a vacation. Somehow, Clark manages to blackmail him right back. Of course, with these two, even being on a deserted island isn't enough to keep them out of trouble.

I love future fic and I love enemies becoming (or, in this case, returning to being) friends. Great characterization for both Lex and Clark and a fun bit of adventure (invading bad guys!) to keep things interesting. A very fun read.

Hideaway
