Review:
The "Classic-verse" is a fantastic series that should please both longtime fans and readers that are (like me) newcomers to the Fandom. It's a retelling of the formation of the classic Avengers (Iron Man, Captain America, The Wasp, Ant-Man and Thor) set in modern times instead of the 1960's. It deals, among other things, with the issue of secret identities (Iron Man's and Thor's), Hank being quite oblivious to Jan's flirtation, Captain America acclimating to his new reality and (as a very, very welcome adition to the original storyline) the developing feelings between Tony and Steve.
There have been five stories so far (each one pretty much self-contained, which means the series doesn't have that terrible "unfinished" feel around it), but according to the authors there is more to come. Personally, I wait anxiously for it.
