Author's Summary: Fourteen years, eight months, and seven days after John and Rodney meet, the clock starts all over again. An SGA AU inspired by the documentary "Unknown White Male".

Review:
This is an amnesia story where Rodney loses his memory and never regains it. Although he doesn't remember John, Rodney is subconsciously drawn to him, and they slowly learn to be friends again. You'll probably notice a subtle awkwardness of John's behaviour towards Rodney (the "OMG Rodney really likes John, so why isn't John like him back"!); I don't want to give away why because it's so much sweeter find out for yourself.

Numerous studies have shown that math and music excite the same parts of the brain (I personally know many physicists and engineers that are excellent musicians), and that is probably why there are so many music!Rodney AUs out there. However, "Unidentified" offers us a Rodney who was previously a brilliant physicist but decides to take up music after his memory loss. And guess what, he's pretty brilliant at that, too (you'll have to read the 'coda' to get to that part).

Finally, "Unidentified" also comes with a very fulfilling conclusion highly recommended for happy-ending lovers.
