Author's Summary: Harry finally learns the means by which he can defeat Voldemort, once and for all. But the means involves slavery. Irrevocable sexual slavery. To Severus Snape.

Review:
Time for some "older" stories. I wanted to rec something for everyone, including those haven't read the last book yet, and here's what I've come up with. Despite the author's warnings, Cambiare Podentes: Invocare and its sequal Madurare are soft, fluffy romance stories. All of the warned elements are there, but the stories themselves are so soft that you'll hardly notice the kink (or slavery). Harry becomes Snape's slave in order to defeat Voldemort. He's reluctant (and scared) at first, but as his relationship with Snape develops... Well, how should I put it. Harry and Snape both try to make the best of a dreadful and awkward situation. And there is love.

These two stories portray a very gentle Snape that doesn't make the reader feel he's out-of-character. The writer uses many cliches, but things are never boring or predictable. The writing is extremely sensual and HOT, and the magic/potions involved are creative and...magical. The only downside of these stories is that the plot seems to drag at times, but this could be due to reading them as WIPs. The stories are really long; don't start them if you have to work/go to school the next day.

From Jane (I'm pulling this from a comment I made on a later, completely unrelated rec as it didn't fit there): "This [the other rec] is probably going to be my last post this year as I read as much fic as I can get my hands on and build up my stores of recs again.  (I just have to stop re-reading that amazing HP fic Mei recommended last week.  If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend it as well.  Especially since I spend thirty-six straight hours (minus three hours to sleep) reading it the first time and then immediately had to go back and *read it again*.  And it was my first ever HP fic!  And it had a gazillion warnings!  Though Mei is right, aside from the rape warning (which does happen, mostly off-screen and is fortunately non-explicit), the warnings themselves manifest in the fluffiest way possible.  For example, the S&M?  Is a nipple piercing.  A single sentence in 3 MB of writing.  And it's necessary to the plot!  So really, you shouldn't worry too much about the warnings -- I'm terribly sensitive to stuff like that and I had no problems at all.) "
