Lex has been having even more attempts on his life than usual and, since he and Clark fell into bed together after one aborted assassination attempt (I love fandom), Superman's been working double-time to keep Lex alive and mostly honest. Not easy when the good guys (read: Batman, awesome as usual) keep pointing out how untrustworthy Lex has been in the past. Another piece of delightfully humorous, semi-angsty fluff from astolat.
