Review:
I've got a soft spot for story where one of the characters hides an artistic talent. And when this character is John Watson, it's even better. I love the idea of John as a competent artist and of Sherlock admiring openly him.
In this well-written fic, Mad_Maudlin adds characteristics to John and Sherlock while respecting canon and keeping them very much in-character.
I also enjoyed the slow pace of this fic. The evolution of their relations hip is never rushed.
All in all, this fic gave me such nice warm feelings, I felt obliged to rec it.
