Summary:
Arthur wakes in a hospital with no memory of who he is or how he got there. All he knows is that someone messed him up pretty badly, and his dreams are violent and terrible. After weeks of wondering why no one has bothered to look for him, he just about gives up. Eames is the one who finds him. They have to discover what a mysterious group of people did to Arthur and his former team to make dreaming so dangerous for them. And they need to find the "Glitch Machine" that is the cause of mass dreaming hysteria, and undo its effects on Arthur and the dreaming community.

Review:
A job gone wrong, mental sabotage with a neurological virus, kidnapping and a disturbing corporate villain. This is another story that pushed my comfort boundaries, with some creepy and scary dream imagery. I love stories that explore the dream-tech of Inception and take it in new directions, and the concepts of the villain's glitch technology, and the way Arthur, Eames and Cobb counteract it are really fun and unique in the fandom. Throw in some amnesia, insomnia and hurt/comfort, a dash of romance, and quite a bit of tension and suspense, and it's a real roller coaster ride. I also really liked the characterizations; each of the main characters gets a turn at being POV, and each has their own unique voice and gets to be a BAMF. in their own way.

There were some moments where I felt like the continuity of what Arthur remembered (or didn't) got a little mixed up, and a couple spots where I wondered why the villain acted quite as he did, but otherwise very fun.
