Review:
When Cassie breaks up with Jon, he doesn’t expect it. Brendon’s been in love with Jon forever, but he knows Jon’s sudden freedom doesn’t mean anything. But when Jon kisses him one night, he can’t put a stop to it.

Usually I’m not the biggest fan of ‘finding oneself’ fics, but this is really wonderful. The OCs Brendon meets while he’s trying to get away from everything are really interesting. Brendon, himself, is hard in a way you don’t often find in fandom, and that is truly beautiful.

As much as I LOVE the first three quarters of this fic, the last part really is not my cup of tea. Arsenic loves using multiple person pairings, and this is one of those instances where it really does not work for me. Also, Brendon goes from being a seriously strong individual to being at his most silly by the end. I really think this fic is worth reading for the first 40,000 words, though, and the ending is more out of place than out and out disappointing.
