Review:
Voldemort is gone, but Lucius Malfoy is still at large and has declared revenge on Harry and Snape. Of course, the only solution to the problem is to lock Harry and Severus into the same house for an indefinite period of time with nothing to do. Guess what happens next.

I like angst as much as the next girl, but lately I've been finding the Harry Potter fandom to be just a bit too depressing. Fortunately I stumbled on this fic, which perked me right back up. Snape is wonderfully in character (yet not unbearably nasty), Harry actually has a sense of humor (which may not be strictly canon compliant, but which is certainly a lot more fun than JKR's version), and this version of Nevelle is so damn awesome I wish he could have a story of his own. I will admit that the ending isn't terribly satisfying, but it's more than made up for by the sheer joy of the rest of the fic. Full of humor, innuendo, and more double entendres than you can shake a stick at, Magnificent Penetration is a delightful romp.

Thank you for reccing this. I read it and found it to be wonderful! I agree with you about the stories in the HP fandom being depressing so it's nice to find one that's amusing.

I try and I try but I just don't understand how you can enjoy Harry/Snape. I really does boggle my mind.

Heh. It certainly wasn't a pairing I ever imagined when I started reading HP fic, but then I read Cambiare Potentes and was completely hooked. Though I have to admit that these days I'm reading a lot more Harry/Draco and/or Snape-mentors/is really the father of/adopts-Harry fic.
