Review:

When talking about “Secret Identity Revealed” fics, this is one of the firsts that come to my mind. It’s a retelling of how Don Blake’s and Tony Stark’s identities were originally discovered (yes, the red thong mentioned in the title is *canon*), told through the eyes of Steve Rogers.

I love the fact that Steve’s reactions to the canon events become much more understandable when one postulates he was thoroughly distracted by Tony in a thong (and who can blame him, really?). Add to that a slashier (and much more satisfying) ending and you end up with an adorable revelation story.

Thank you for the recs! I love identity revealed fics, especially between Steve and Tony, but haven't had much success finding many. :)

Have you read Crimsonquill's "Beneath the Armor?" It's the first other identity reveal Steve/Tony fic that immediately springs to mind.

I just read it and absolutely loved it (much like yours!:). It's surprising to me how few authors have tackled the whole identity revealed side of their relationship but, then again, there's so much there to work with beyond that.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Unfortunately there aren't that many Steve/Tony revelation fics, but most of them are very good.
