Title: Drop the Soap
Fandom: Farscape
Pairing: John/D'Argo
Categories: Humor, Romance
Length: Medium
Warnings: None

Review:
Stranded in unfamiliar space with his best chance of survival being with a group of fugitives, John is walking around on eggshells until a game of 'drop the soap' leads him to a very unexpected place.
Though I know that the pairing of choice in the Farscape fandom tends to be John/Aeryn, I couldn't help but want to rec something a little different. Set fairly close to the beginning of the series, Anne Higgins does a fine and humorous job of capturing a 'what if' scenario - the 'what if' being, of course, what if John had ended up with D'Argo instead of Aeryn? While I can't say I'm completely sold on this pairing, especially since I have only watched about half of the series itself, I couldn't help but be amused and delighted by this story. All the characters, most especially John and D'Argo, are nicely in character and don't stray too far afield to make the story (and the pairing) work.
All things told, even with some of the flaws, I was delighted with this fic and will happily read it again.
