Author's Summary: "When we don't die young and violently, we die weird. Well, or all three, case in point." At last: the Torchwood Epic of Ridiculousness and Doom.

Review:
The best Torchwood story I have ever read, and one of my favourite fanfic of all times.

Get Loved, Make More, Try to Stay Alive is neither ridiculous nor made of doom. Long, plotty, and full of surprises, this story put me on the verge of crying countless number of times. Luckily, the author made a (very clever) save at the end that made my world all rosy and fuzzy again.

I think that every step I take to reveal more of the story to you now will take away some of your enjoyment of the story later on, but since it's Torchwood, it's safe to say that there will be aliens, weird shit happening, and possibly people dying. This story is truly something for you to experience yourself. Get Loved will make you laugh, cry, and sometimes a bit of both at the same time. Highly recommended.

When I read this, I'd only a vauge idea of who Jack and Ianto were or what Torchwood was, tbh. And after? I loved them SO much! And I stayed up all night reading this and was crying my eyes out by the end and it is such a wonderful fic! Thanks for reccing it!

I've watched seasons 1 & 2 before reading this (and let's be honest, the show is rather silly), but this was the story that made me truly fall in love with the characters.

Dude. This sounds awesome! Except -- how likely am I to cry? Cause you know how I am about crying:) Thanks!

I think it's likely that you'll cry, but I think the ending makes everything worth it (*hint* some bad things are reversed by the ending).

I was kind of devastated in the middle part thinking: oh, this could end very badly. But I pulled through and the ending was just lovely. :)
