Review:
Mann of My Dreams Series is action, spy-novel, case-fic, and steamy hot sex all rolled into one well-plotted, fun story. The sexual tension between the two main characters, who happen to work for opposing spy agencies, is so deliciously palpable. Even after they’ve had sex with each other! Mark Vincent and Quinton Mann play a very dangerous game, but little do they know their relationship is going to get a lot more complicated.

Please heed the warning. While the violence portrayed in this series is not any worse than the standard spy-novel (i.e. people being beat-up badly, killed, or otherwise assaulted is not uncommon), it is probably not to everyone’s taste. For me, even though some parts dragged a little, the sweet, sweet revenge storyline made it all worthwhile. The wonderful supporting cast and episodic mini-stories within the series make the entire reading experience fun and captivating. Mark Vincent’s landlord, who, incidentally, used to be a rentboy, has his own story series, but it’s of a different genre and IMHO nowhere near as interesting as Mann of My Dreams Series.

The verdict: a truly delightful story -- serious, but not too dark, and yet packed with tons of entertainment.
