Review:
For reasons that don't need explaining here (but are explained in the book), twenty years after the war Harry finds Snape in suspended animation. He's still alive, but he thinks he's seventeen. It's up to Harry to keep an eye on him until Snape's memories return.
This fic starts off a little slow, but once Snape enters the picture -- wow. Just, wow. Teenage!Snape is brilliant -- more open and uncertain than his adult counterpart, but so very well drawn that you can easily see how he turned into the bastard we all know and love.
Other nuances of the fic really work for me as well, especially the fact that Harry is now older than Snape by a few years, and the fact that Albus is now Slytherin (which allows for a fascinating contrast of Slytherin attitudes from the first war and from the post-Voldemort years). Mix in some interesting magics, lots of Harry/Snape interaction, and the awesomeness that is amnesia!Snape (honestly, what more do you need) and you have a solidly-written, wonderfully entertaining fic.
