Dr. Venture gets invited to a conference in Vegas. Since everyone knows that Vegas is the place for half-assed scientists living off the coattails of their father's fame to buy sex scientists to network via conferences, Venture is definitely going. Unfortunately, Brock is still MIA after the events of the S3 finale, and so a desperate Dr. Venture turns to the only other person still speaking to him to act as a babysitter...

First, if you've never seen or heard of The Venture Bros., go get a copy now and watch it. Go on. I'll wait. (If you simply can't face watching twenty hours of glorious Johnny Quest-parodying crack, check out the wikipedia page.)

Good isn't it? Told you so. At any rate, since comm rules prohibit me from reccing the absolutely amazing fic Ceares wrote for me for last year's Yuletide, I present to you this hilarious gem. Dr. Venture and The Monarch's interactions are hilariously spot-on, Dr. Mrs. The Monarch nee Dr. Girlfriend is awesome (as she always is), and Hank and Dean are, well, Hank and Dean. I mean, who else is going to befriend the local alligator (charmingly named The Great Man Killer)?

I will admit that if you've never seen The Venture Bros, you'll probably be more than a little lost while reading this fic. But I bet you'll still laugh. And if you *have* seen the show, this is guaranteed to leave you in stitches.
