Review:
“When the Sun met the Moon” was written as a response to a challenge that asked for a story set after Teen Titans #1 (when Kon discovers his true parentage) that had Kon meeting Lena Luthor, the other canonical child of Lex Luthor. (How come there are no more stories like that? The premise is wonderful!). This fic has Kon becoming Lena's guardian after an explosion left Lex comatose and having to deal with the fallout of the revelation of his true heritage.

There are a couple of things I don’t like about this story: there are a couple of typos, it feels a bit choppy at times and the romantic subplot between Kon and Tim feels too rushed. There are, however, a lot of things I love about it, all involving the way Kon is portrayed: his relationship with Lena (which is just fabulous and by itself would have made me enjoy the story), the way he deals with what happens between him and Cassie and, above all else, the way he faces his fears about his heritage and grows up. Despite its flaws, this is a charming fic that should please Kon’s fans.
