Review:
Farscape is a sci-fi show about an astronaut flung into another galaxy, and thrust into a deadly interstellar conflict against the vast Peacekeeper Army, accompanied by a ragtag band of fugitives aboard a living ship called Moya, a former Peacekeeper prison ship. The crew is made up of the calm and collected Zahn, a plant-like being with telepathic abilities, the vicious and growly D'Argo, the pompous Rygel, the former ruler of the Hynerian Empire and the thief Chiana. Together, they are trying to get home to each of their former lives.

Farscape has done several episodes where John experiences delusions of being back on Earth, and being taken as mentally unbalanced, and "In One of These Dreams" expands on this. The story is narrated from the POV of a nurse in Ward Six, a mental institution where Crichton is being held. The narrator, George, tells of how John deals (or doesn't) with the fact that he probably imagined the entire experience on Moya, until an old 'friend' comes to visit him. This fic has a lot of angst, but it's also very poignant, and there's a definite surreal quality to the whole thing.
