Title: Miscommunication.
Fandom: Star Trek: Enterprise.
Pairing: Charles "Trip" Tucker III/T'Pol, Malcolm Reed/Hoshi Sato.
Categories: Humor, Adventure, Romance.
Length: Epic.

Review:
To show T'Pol he understands (or at least tries to) and appreciates her culture, Trip decides to surprise her by learning Vulcan and swears Hoshi, his teacher, to secrecy. This of course leads to chaos: the whole crew (and a very jealous T'Pol is included) seems to think the Linguist and the Chief Engineer are romantically involved. It isn't until a dangerous away mission that true feelings (and linguistic capabilities) are revealed.

Trip's struggle with his language lessons is at the same time hilarious and endearing, the interaction between Hoshi and Malcolm is priceless and while T'Pol does get a little too sentimental at times for a Vulcan, we've seen her react much more outrageously in canon.
