Review:
John and Rodney had a short fling in '88 during the Winter Olympics. John won a gold (in skiing) that year and Rodney went on to become a World Champion (also in skiing). Because men, especially John and Rodney, can be really stupid sometimes, they ended up not talking to each other for twenty years. The year is now 2008 and John gets hired by the ski resort where Rodney is a manager...

Alright, writing summaries was never my strong suit. You might need to suspend your disbelief a little for this one, but if you like AUs, you'll find this to be a cute and enjoyable story. Both John and Rodney's characterization were spot-on, and you can really picture Rodney being a professional (although still very very grumpy) skier and ski hill designer. The ending was a bit too fluffy for my liking, but hey, everyone should enjoy a mushy happy-ending once in awhile.
