When Sookie is invited to a costume party at Fangtasia, things quickly get out of hand.

Written during last years Halloween-Fic-Exchange over at eric_sookie, 'Ain't A Party' is fic that has everything: a plethora of ex-lovers, a current jealous lover, vampires and supes dressed up in costume, Pam and Eric's saucy wit, and a Fellowship of The Sun courtesy dumpster fire. Which is to say, it's just like any other party Sookie has been to in 'True Blood' universe. Minus the bloodshed.

I really found myself enjoying this fic, both because it's one of the longer fics I've found (I know; it's a tragedy) and because I could easily see it being a side-story in the chaos that is Sookie's life. Though there are a few hiccups in this story (Sookie's voice falls just a little flat to me), it's well worth reading. Especially if you enjoy the idea of vampires, werewolves, and Sookie walking around in some truly outrageous costumes.
