Summary: Ianto discovers an alien artifact in the archives, which sets him on an unexpected path.

Review: I always love fics where Ianto is somehow able to find a way to comfort Jack after his death and Unfixed Wishes is a good representation of that theme.

After Owen and Tosh die (Exit Wounds) Ianto begins to realize just how fleeting his life is and realized that what he wants more than anything is to be able to help Jack, through the tough times in his life. Thanks to a mysterious alien device he gets that chance. He's there to save Jack's life, to save Jack's family, to give his blessing when Jack wants to get married, and perhaps most touching of all he's there to comfort Jack when he dies.

The story is a bit on the unbelievable side but since it is kept light and fluffy I don't think that this really detracted from the story.
