Review:  "Your inner realist must be very good friends with my inner cynic."  Chang Wufei and Dorothy Catalonia meet, and begin a pseudo-intellectual romance.

Bonus fic!  Honestly, I would have recced the fic for this one, insightful passage alone:

"All things aside, isn’t there something oddly satisfying to having been the one to question things?"
"It does show you don’t take things for granted."
"Are we, by saying that, desperately trying to find something to excuse our actions with?"

This author just... she *knows* these characters, warts and all.  The style of the fic is interesting, too: it switches POV in each "section", giving some time & space for other characters to comment on this romance and be bewildered by it, and there are a few sections that are unlabeled dialogue between Wufei and Dorothy.  I had fun guessing who said which lines - the characters really do have a lot in common.  There's one slightly-clumsy reference to Harry Potter that the author clearly couldn't keep herself from making, but even if that sort of thing bothers you, it's easily ignored and forgotten.
