Review:
Nick is investigating the possible homicide of a man who died of erotic asphyxiation, when he finds out that Greg knew the victim. As in *knew* the victim. And then there is angst.

I am usually so torn about writing recs for Caroline's fic, because while she's a good writer (which is, sadly, quite rare in the CSI fandom), her version of Nick is both gay and very, very homophobic and that combination just doesn't work for me. He's still gay and homophobic in this fic, but at least his internal conflict in this story comes from a slightly more understandable place: if Greg is into S&M and Nick is most emphatically not, how could they possibly have any kind of workable relationship? It's an interesting question which is thread through an interesting case (also very rare in CSI fanfic) and you just want to hug Greg the whole story through. Of course, so does Nick. Therein lies the internal conflict. A good fic if you're looking for some plot with your angst.
