Review:
When Harry was a child no one warned him about the things that lurked in the forest. When he escapes from one, it follows him home. Now he’s trapped in the land of the Erlking as the King’s new beloved and Voldemort is the first to lay eyes on him.

I have to confess: it’s taken me a long time to finally decide to rec this fic and even now I’m slightly conflicted about it. Don’t get me wrong, I do think it deserves to be recced; the premise is original and the author has a wonderful knack for balancing the action with the description. However, on the flip side of that, Erlking can be a chilling and uncomfortable read that leaves you waffling between wanting to continue and finding out where the premise leads to backing away slowly because some of the warnings involved.

Either way, if you can brave the warnings listed (every single one of them apply), I do recommend reading it and deciding for yourself whether you can take it or leave it.
