Website: Merlin Missy's Ao3
Summary: Everyone thinks Jason has two mommies.
Review: Despite being in the Batman universe Merlin Missy wants to be clear that this is not 'that' Jason. In The Return of the Joker we discover that Harley ended up having twin granddaughter 'Jokers' whom she had raised. This is the story of the girls' father.
What I love about this story is how Jason sees the world. He's the son and nephew of villainess' and while he never gets into the business himself, his morals are skewed by his childhood. He doesn't much care if his Aunt breaks herself out of jail to pick him up from school, Batgirl buys him the glasses he needs when money runs short, or Mercy shows up on their doorstep looking for some help. Everything in his life is based on The Code: You do for people, and they do for you.
It's a completely different look at the world of supervillains and superheroes.
