Summary: Merlin comes up with excellent plans, despite Arthur's protestations otherwise. He'll just have to show him otherwise, won't he? (Or, Arthur gets transformed into a variety of things by his bumbling magical manservant. He is surprisingly okay with it.)

Review:
This is a charming fic about Arthur and Merlin's misadventures as a variety of flora and fauna. oxoniensis has a way with words, and I loved the numerous scrapes that our boys get themselves into. Arthur is hilariously exasperated, and Merlin is cunning and oblivious by turns. I liked the exploration of Merlin's magic, and the character interplay. My only quibble with this fic is that the romance seems a little tacked on, and I think that I would have been more satisfied if it had been gen. There is some lovely cover art by goss accompanying the fic, which definitely worth perusal as well.
