Follows the first few weeks after the first series finale, as Sherlock buries his uncertainty and fear from Moriarty's attack in an investigation as to what makes John tick.

I have to admit, I waffled on this rec because the fic is a bit too short and feels choppy as a result. On the other hand, I love emotionally repressed, investigative!Sherlock, and I love supportive grounded!John and this fic offers up both, along with some first time shenanigans and a bit of Moriarty closure. A fast read for Sherlock fans.
