Summary: Fix-it Fic for the end of Live Free and Die Hard

Review: Mai, Trey, and Gabriel survive the end of the movie and go on to have a happy, if evil life.

This is more or less a case fic, direct and to the point. Mai survived her fight with McClane and works to get Trey and Gabriel out of custody. What really makes the story is the characterization. Trey, May, and Gabriel weren't really fleshed out in the original movie, but Nancy worked around that making their relationship real, and believable both in the story and in the realm of Canon.

Mai is take charge and kick ass, Gabriel is the man with the plan, and Trey will do whatever it takes to support both of them. It's a well written dynamic, only made better by Nancy's rendition of Gabriel's biting sense of humor.
