Before going to Sunnydale, Wish’verse Buffy spends some time with her Watcher.

Despite being terribly short, this fic is a wonderful character study of both Buffy and Wesley and what could have been if their world was just a little different. I love how this highlights the darkness in each of them, shows that each of them would have been different if Wesley had been Buffy’s Watcher. This one is so full of little nuances, it honestly amazes me it’s as short as it is. Great read if you only have ten minutes.
