Title: Conversations Between Two McKinley High Students
Fandom: Glee
Pairing: Puck/Rachel preslashhet
Categories: Slice of Life, Humor, Friendship
Length: Long (~25,000 words)
Warnings: chapters are coda-ish to S1 of Glee, a bit OOC
Author on LJ: Glow (not on LJ)
Website: n/a
Summary: ...who are not friends. At all. Or: Moments where Noah Puckerman is not a total *bleep* to Rachel Berry.
Review:
I enjoyed Puck and Rachel's friendship in this, with that spark of chemistry that was not to be in canon. There is wonderful banter and high school politics abound, making for a highly enjoyable fic, and I loved how Glow made Rachel and Puck come together fluidly and naturally. Though Rachel is less annoying here than in canon (and really, that's a plus), I loved that she and Puck get along really well, based on the fact that they have horrible personalities and they understand that about each other. The only complaint I have about this fic is that I wish the other characters were as fleshed out and realistic as the author had made Puck and Rachel. I think that Glow missed an opportunity for even more awesomeness in that one aspect.
