So this week I was reading this hilarious piece over at Jezebel about why women logically believe Lochte to be a douchebag yet still find him sexy (some of the comments are comedy gold). Two days later I came across this gem of a story and laughed my whole way through it (in a good way). hapakitsune has written a great story with Phelps understanding Lochte is a big dork but still can’t help but like him.

I love the irreverent, unrepentant tone of this. I like that their sex isn’t “romantic” but it works for them. I like the condom snapping, the competitiveness, and the realization they’ve been in a relationship for eight years. This is just a fun, fluff piece that makes me smile.
