Wes turns on the hose. Isn’t it always? He thinks.
“Yeah,” he says. “Yeah, something like that.”
Review:
Everytime USA Network starts a new original series I can't help but be giddy. I love their shows and there isn't a single one that I haven't/am not watching for the last couple of years. So, Common Law promised to be interesting. True it is once more cops and two partnes who couldn't be different. There's a lot of this happening all over the place. But the show is just entertaining to watch with a great cast of actors that draw you in. This said, I knew that there's going to be great fiction to be found in this fandom. So far there's not a lot of stories out there (we only have four episodes so far), but even so I found this little gem of a story that made me so happy reading it.
Pyrodynamo in my opinion perfectly captures the voice of the characters when writing her story. Wes and Travis are portrayed exactly the way they are shown in the show and even though there is a lot of backstory and information still missing in this fandom, it feels like we are getting a glimpse at a possible future scenario. I hope that she's going to write more and adds further to the Common Law fandom.
