Review:
After Booth is shot in a raid (...or something), Bones ends up agreeing to watch Parker until Booth gets out of the hospital. Familial bonding ensues.
Good Bones fic is hard to find, so I was excited to find this adorable ball of fluff. On the down side, you don't have a case file or much interaction with the lab guys. On the up side, you have Parker (who *doesn't* take over the story the way most kids do in kid!fic), some lovely hurt/comfort with regards to the injured Booth, and some resolution in the Bones/Booth relationship (yay!)
Character-wise, I will say that Bones seems uncharacteristically prudish when it comes to sex, but that could be explained by how much more she cares about Booth than she did about her previous partners. She's also not naturally good with kids, which is very much in character. Speaking of kids, Parker is a very, very realistic four year old and should be endearing to anyone who likes kids of that age (or, for me, a perfect reminder of how much I don't want children). Finally you have Booth, who is spot-on though you won't see much of him till the second half of the story.
All-in-all, this is a solidly-written story ideal for anyone who likes kid!fic and/or fluff.
