Review:
Martha and Jack's oh-so tragic crushes on the Doctor always kind of bothered me, but this lil' snippet brings a new perspective on Jack's motivations that I find fascinating. I think that his characterization, while not exactly canon, is line with the conman that we see in 'The Empty Child' and 'The Doctor Dances', and is highly enjoyable. Jack and Martha's chemistry is lovely and flowing, making it a highly enjoyable, layered fic.
