Author's Summary: Jared Padalecki is a Journalist and Jensen Ackles is a homicide detective with a serial murder investigation on his hands. The murders bear a striking resemblance to the case that tore their relationship apart five years ago. Could this new investigation be the catalyst they needed to reconnect?

Review:
A copycat serial killer brings Jared and Jensen back together after five years apart. This time around, they decide to give their relationship another try and catch a cunning killer along the way.

A story rec AND an art rec at the same time! I rarely pay much attention to story artworks, but the pieces which accompany Close to Home are just stunning! I love the author's use of colours, and Jared and Jensen's profiles are absolutely beautiful and they go so well with the story at hand.

Close to Home is a solid romance-mystery, and Jensen's characterization was very convincing, which, in a way, helped to amplify the craziness of the killer. While I was more interested in figuring out who the killer was than Jared and Jensen's relationship, the hot, steamy sex should make a lot of people happy. A great read!
