Review: One of the best representations of the 'Cap adjusts to being gay in modern times' genre of stories that I've ever read. It doesn't shy away from the tough questions about what a Catholic kid from the 40s would have to deal with when it came to having a gay relationship.

The Tony voice is equally awesome. He's strong and obviously loves Cap dearly, but that doesn't stop him from being awkward and trying to make up for things that he can't help.

Also I'm a sucker for slow building relationships and domesticity with happy endings. This fic hit all of those buttons. As well as one of the tropes that I find hardest to find in fics: Both of the main romance leads ready and willing to protect each other and fight for each other, without having to resort to the big 'damsel in distress moment'.

The non-romantic plot lines are well written and easy to follow without feeling forced beyond the first 'magical unexplained transformation moment' that starts the story off.
