Review:
Derek wakes up without knowing much about himself, wanders into town and encounters an equally amnesiac Stiles. Together, they try to figure out what's happened to themselves and the empty town around them.
This fic is super creepy and surreal, leaving you feeling disoriented along with the characters. Before I even saw the "inspired by Silent Hill" tag on the fic, I was flashing back to the fog-enshrouded, monster-ridden video game series while reading. Throughout, the story makes you question what is happening and who and what are real. I'm still not sure what was supposed to be real in this dream-like and nightmarish story, which really leaves the interpretation to the reader. Not a comfortable story to read, but an absorbing and haunting one for when you feel like ambiguity and an exploration of reality vs. illusion.
